Who Would True Valor See

Who would true valour see,
Let him come hither;
One here will constant be,
Come wind, come weather
There’s no discouragement
Shall make him once relent
His first avowed intent
To be a pilgrim.

Whoso beset him round
With dismal stories
Do but themselves confound;
His strength the more is.
No lion can him fright,
He’ll with a giant fight,
He will have a right
To be a pilgrim.

Hobgoblin nor foul fiend
Can daunt his spirit,
He knows he at the end
Shall life inherit.
Then fancies fly away,
He’ll fear not what men say,
He’ll labor night and day
To be a pilgrim.

Who Would True Valor See by John Bunyan

The Clown Fish

No one else can take a joke
Better than this friend.
Though a real clown he is not,
With him laughter never ends.

A Fish that knows the oceans,
Much knowledge gained from cyber-seas.
With a “I’m feeling lucky”,
He conquers the net with ease.

No longer just in stripes and checks,
He looks better with each passing day,
“Much more handsome he has become”,
This I often hear people say.

A man who goes out of his way,
To bless those he oversee.
Allowing God to challenge and mould him,
A mighty fine man he will be.

The Rabbit

What do you see when you look at this Rabbit?
Is it her sincere eyes that are brightly lit?
With a sincere heart too she blesses her friends,
Wonderful cards come out of her hands.

Or how about her two long ears?
Whatever you share she will gladly hear.
Always able to see our Lord’s way,
“Praise the Lord!” she will often say.

Covered with soft fur as white as snow,
Gentleness and purity this lady shows.
Our Lord’s Words she would tightly hold,
In God’s eyes she is more precious than gold.

So what do you see when you look at this Rabbit?
Do you see that size does not limit?
Or that happiness comes from a simple plan…
Just follow Him and hold His hand.

A New Year, A New Season

In the blink of an eye, we are already into the third day of the new year. How time flies! There are so many things waiting to be done, even more that I want to do, and some that I owe, hee. Well, no matter what, time and tide waits for no man. No point lamenting, no point complaining, just have to keep going forward.

In His strength...
Pilgrim will keep on walking
